Abstract Submission Guidelines

The abstract submitted to the Scientific Program Committee should have a maximum of 2500 characters. One image or table can be included in each abstract (in PDF format).

Submission and responsibilities of the corresponding author

Abstracts must be submitted online via the abstract submission system.

The person submitting the abstract serves as the corresponding author for all correspondence regarding the abstract, unless otherwise specified. The corresponding author is responsible for the following:

  • Approval of all co-authors on the content of the abstract and agreement to be co-authors.
  • Informing all co-authors on any changes of the abstract.
  • Notifying all co-authors of the publication of accepted abstracts in a supplement of the Journal HemaSphere

A notification regarding acceptance of abstracts will be sent to the corresponding author via E-Mail by early January 2021. Abstracts of superior quality will be selected by the Scientific Program Committee for presentation at the ISHL12.

Responsibilities of the Presenting Author

The presenting author must be one of the co-authors listed on the submitted abstract but does not need to be the corresponding author. It is the responsibility of the presenting author to obtain all of the conflict-of-interest disclosures from co-authors.

Once an abstract is submitted, a written request must be submitted no later than January 10, 2021, to abstracts@hodgkinsymposium.org if the corresponding author chooses to withdraw the abstract for any reason. Abstracts will not be withdrawn after this deadline.

Abstract Presentation Format

The presentation format for each abstract will be determined by the Scientific Program Committee based on the quality of the submission. Potential types of presentations are either (1) Oral Presentation during Scientific Symposia or (2) Poster Presentation during Poster Sessions.

A limited number of awards will be granted to high-quality abstracts during the opening ceremony of the congress.

Submission Deadline

Abstracts may be submitted until 15. Nov 2020.

Submissions received after this deadline will not be considered.
